Abstract
The optical component comprises a first element ( ) having a light-emission surface ( ) and a second element ( ) having a light-entrance surface ( ), a bonding layer ( ) interconnecting the elements ( ) being provided between said surfaces ( ). The bonding layer ( ) is an optically transparent layer of paraffin, which efficiently couples light from the first element ( ) into the second element ( ) and carefully positions said elements ( ) with respect to each other.
