Abstract
An intake manifold ( ) includes an integral fuel rail ( ) at least partially surrounded by a volume ( ). The volume ( ), being adjacent the fuel rail ( ), minimizes the permeation of fuel out of the fuel rail ( ). The volume ( ) is also utilizable as a sealed storage space to contain an air induction component ( ) to more effectively utilize the packaging space of the intake manifold ( ).
