Abstract
Monoazoquilolone pigments which, in one of the tautomeric forms thereof, correspond to formula (1), wherein Ar is a radical of formula (2 ), (2 ), (2 ), (2 ), 2( ) or (2 ) wherein R is C -C alkyl, R and R are each independently of the other hydrogen, halogen, C -C alkyl, carboxy, sulfo, cyano, C -C alkoxycarbonal, C -C alkylcarbonyl, C -C alkanoylamino, benzoylamino that is unsubstituted or substituted in the phenyl ring by halogen, nitro, C -C alkyl or by C alkoxy; carbamoyl, N-C -C alkylaminocarbonyl, N-arylaminocarbonyl that is unsubstituted or substituted in the aryl moiety by halogen, nitro, C -C alkyl or by C -C alkoxy; N,N-di-C -C alkylaminocarbonyl, C -C alkoxysulfonyl, C -C alkylsulfonyl, sulfamoyl, N-C -C alkylaminosulfonyl, N-arylaminosulfonyl that is unsubstituted or substituted in the aryl moiety by halogen, nitro, C -C alkyl or by C -C alkoxy; or N,N-di-C -C alkylaminosulfonyl, wherein carboxy and sulfo are in the form of the free acid or in salt form, R and R are each independently of the other hydrogen, halogen, C -C alkyl, C -C alkoxy, carboxy, sulfo, cyano, C -C alkoxycarbonyl, C -C alkylcarbonyl, C -C alkanoylamino, benzoylamino that is unsubstituted or substituted in the phenyl ring by halogen, nitro, C -C alkyl or by C -C alkoxy; carbamoyl, N-C -C alkylaminocarbonyl, N-arylaminocarbonyl that is unsubstituted or substituted in the aryl moiety by halogen, nitro, C -C alkyl or C -C alkoxy, N,N-di-C -C alkylaminocarbonyl, C -C alkoxysulfonyl, C -C alkylsulfonyl, sulfamoyl, N-C -C alkylaminosulfonyl, N-arylaminosulfonyl that is unsubstituted or substituted in the aryl moiety by halogen, nitro, C -C alkyl or by C -C alkoxy; or N,N-di-C -C alkylaminosulfonyl, wherein carboxy and sulfo are in the form of the free acid or in salt form. Ar is an aryl radical, p is a number 0, 1 or 2, and r is a number 0, 1 or 2, wherein (R ) in formula (2 ) denodes r identical or different radicals R , are suitable for the coloring of high molecular weight material and are distinguished by good fastness properties of the resulting colorations.
