Abstract
In a dental implant device for reconstructing teeth, a supporting element and an abutment portion form a single substructure ( ). This substructure comprises an inner metal core ( ) and an outer sheath ( ) that is formed of a ceramic and/or of a composite material. The lower part of the substructure forms the supporting element ( ), and the upper abutment portion functions as a retaining mold portion ( ) for receiving the tooth crown ( ) reconstructed tooth. The retaining mold portion ( ) merges at a concavely rounded transition with the supporting element; and the terminal collar of the tooth crown of the reconstructed tooth has a matching convexly rounded run-out, so that in the assembled state, the transition and the run-out form a perfectly congruent seat ( ). The outer sheath and the tooth crown have the same color structure and may be made of the same or similar materials.
