Abstract
A method is presented for preventing the unauthorized use of a certain protected interface ( ) in a processor ( ′). An indication (NO PAT, ALARM) of attempted use of the protected interface is generated, and as a response to said indication, at least a major part of the operation of the processor is disabled (DISABLE).
