Abstract
A single-chassis clustered network system ( ) having internal connectors ( ) that eliminate the need for wiring out the back of the chassis. Each main board ( ) has a network interface card ( ), an internal connector ( ), an external connector ( ), and an autosense circuit ( ). The autosense circuit ( ) detects when the internal connectors ( ) are being used, and disables the external connectors ( ), or vice versa.
