Abstract
Disclosed are compositions and methods for the facile perfusion of a tissue with active agents following direct intra-tissue injection. Targets may consist of cells, cellular components, and/or extracellular components. The high perfusion efficiency permits high concentrations of active agents to be delivered to tissue targets resulting in high degrees of efficacy and in some instances the production of novel pharmacological activities of an active agent previously unknown or previously unattainable in vivo.
