Abstract
The invention provides a process to prepare a recombined transgenic plant from a transgenic plant, wherein the transgene in the recombinant plant has an altered genetic structure relative to the genetic structure of the transgene in the transgenic plant, due to homologous recombination-mediated transgene deletion, amplification or rearrangement.
