Abstract
A flexible circuit board connecting device comprises a flat connector ( ) to be connected to a predetermined circuit member, a flexible circuit board ( ) to be connected to the circuit member via the connector ( ). The connector ( ) comprises a flat housing having a plurality of holding holes ( ), a plurality of terminals ( ) held in the holding holes ( ). Each terminal ( ) has a connection section ( A) to be connected to the circuit board and a contact section ( D) to be connected to the flexible circuit board. The contact points between the flexible circuit board and the terminals are made movable along the flexible circuit board from the zero insertion position to the contact position under spring forces.
