Abstract
A chair allowing a person sitting thereon to move a part of the person's body above the waist which corresponds to the backrest of the chair is provided having a backrest portion located behind a seat portion, the backrest portion being divided into backrest upper frames and backrest lower frames , wherein a first state which allows the whole backrest frame to incline rearwardly and a second state which allows the backrest upper frames to incline rearwardly relative to the backrest lower frames are assumed, the first state and the second state being switchable to each other.
