Abstract
A method for minimizing the radial runout of a tire and rim assembly ( ) having the steps of measuring the runout of the tire and rim assembly ( ), locating the position of maximum radial runout of the tire ( ) and the minimum runout of the rim (J). The method minimizes first harmonic vibrations caused by the normal assembly of these components.
