Abstract
An extension of a core plate is brazed to an insert with the extension being held in a holding portion formed in the insert plate , and the width Wi of the extension is made to be substantially the same as the width Wc of the insert , whereby the retention of flux at longitudinal end portions of the core plate is made difficult. In addition, as a contact area between the extension and the insert can be made larger, the brazing of the extension and the insert can be ensured while the welding of a tank main body and the core plate can be facilitated.
