Abstract

A method and system for installing a software product to computer with authorization is provided. (1) A code C is generated from registration information that designates information about software products having already been installed to a first computer and an identifier that designates the software product S on both the first and the second computer. (2) A second computer compares the code C generated by the first computer with the code C generated by the second computer. And (3) if the code C coincides with the code C , the software product S is installed to the first computer.
