Abstract
A fuse assembly including a pair of terminals which are arranged in parallel to each other, a housing having a cavity for containing one end portions of the terminals, and a fusible body interconnecting the terminals The fusible body consists of a pair of supporting portions connected to end faces of the terminals and a connecting portion interconnecting the supporting portions The fuse assembly further includes anchoring parts for fixing the fusible body to the housing and second anchoring parts for fixing the terminals to the housing The anchoring parts include through holes formed in the supporting portions and projections projected from an inner face of the housing and adapted to be engaged in the through holes Thus, conduction of heat generated in the fusible body to electrical equipments connected to the terminals can be restrained.
