Abstract

A wrist type bloodpressure monitor ( ) is provided with an interface connector ( ) for calibration purposes. The correct values of the blood pressure are measured with a calibration device ( ) including an upper arm blood pressure measuring monitor ( ). The values (D′, S′) measured in this way are used to recalibrate the wrist type blood pressure monitor ( ). The wrist type blood pressure monitor ( ) is therefore provided with an editable memory ( ) for the purpose of recalibration.
