Abstract

The invention is a system ( ) and method for providing personal calendar services. A system providing calendar services in accordance with the invention includes a mobile terminal ( ) including a display ( ), a processor ( ) which controls providing a display on the display of a calendar of a user of the mobile terminal including scheduled calendar user services which are provided to the user of the mobile terminal by at least one user service provider and have associated therewith a scheduled time and at least one location at which the user service is provided to the user; at least one calendaring and scheduling server ( ) providing the mobile terminal with a schedule of the scheduled calendar user services which is maintained by the at least one calendaring and scheduling server and which is displayed by the display under control of the calendar software client, each calendaring and scheduling server executing software, which is responsive to a physical location stored therein to schedule at least one scheduled calendar user service for the user of the mobile terminal; and a communication system ( ) providing communications between the mobile terminal and the at least one calendaring and scheduling server and between the at least one calendaring and scheduling server and the at least one service provider.
