Abstract
A protocol control unit obtains a setting information file to be set to a drawing unit from one of a plurality of host computers at a certain timing, the setting information file is analyzed and converted into commands to be set to the drawing unit by a data surveillance unit, and the converted commands are transferred to the drawing unit by a command communication unit, thereby automating each setting operation item for the drawing unit of the printing apparatuses, in a situation wherein a plurality of host computers share printing apparatuses connected to a network.
