Abstract
A valve for regulating fluids includes a piezo-electric actor unit ( ) for operating a valve member assembly. The valve member assembly has at least one first piston ( ) guided in a valve body ( ) and a second piston ( ). A hydraulic chamber, acting as a hydraulic converter, is disposed between the first and second pistons ( ). The second piston operates a valve-closing member ( ) disposed on an end facing away from the hydraulic chamber ( ). The valve closing member ( ) cooperates with at least one valve seat ( ) formed on the valve body ( ) and in a closed position, separates a system pressure region ( ) of the valve ( ) from a high pressure region ( ). The second piston ( ) is surrounded by and supported by an approximately casing-type spacer ( ) on the valve body ( ).
