Abstract
The invention relates to a voltage intermediate circuit converter having a 12-pulse input converter ( ), having a voltage intermediate circuit ( ) and having a machine converter ( ) using three-point switching. According to the invention, the two converter elements ( ) of the input converter ( ) have a respective self-commutated pulse-controlled converter ( , ).
