Abstract

A liquid crystal display device is constructed by arranging, on the back of a liquid crystal panel for displaying an image, an optical guide plate unit constructed to irradiate the whole surface of the liquid crystal panel with a light coming from a lamp unit and reflected by a lamp reflector by positioning the liquid crystal panel in contact with a liquid crystal panel receiving portion which is rounded by folding back a lamp cover constructed to cover the lamp unit and by supporting and fixing the liquid crystal panel and the optical guide plate unit by a front frame and a back frame
