Abstract
A polyester film containing 0.1 to 2.0% by weight of a wax compound formed from an aliphatic carboxylic acid and an aliphatic alcohol or a constituent of the wax compound, and having thereon large protuberances having a maximum diameter of not smaller than 2 &mgr;m at a density of 20 protuberances/mm .
