Abstract
In a scan electrode ( ), the widths of transparent electrodes ( ) vary depending on colors so that the relation of the widths (WR , WG WB ) of the transparent electrodes ( R, G, B) in the Y direction may become WB WR WG . Similarly, in a sustain electrode ( ), the widths of transparent electrodes ( ) vary depending on colors so that the relation of the widths (WR WG WB ) of the transparent electrodes ( R, G, B) in the Y direction may become WB WR WG With this variation in width, a plasma display panel capable of setting the color temperature of white to a proper value can be obtained without control of input gains which would invite deterioration in the number of tones.
