Abstract

Date display device, intended to be fitted to a timepiece provided with a movement, a dial and hands driven by said movement and displaying the time. A date mechanism, drives first and second display members, mounted to move in rotation on the movement, and provided with indices . The device is arranged so that, when the mechanism causes the units display to pass from a value n to n+1, n being an integer number comprised between 1 and 9, the first member travels, in the clockwise direction, through an angle equal to 30°, and so that, when n is equal to 1, the index is located in a position corresponding to the position which an hour hand would occupy, when it is one o'clock.
