Abstract
Cooling oil passes through a cooling oil passage ( ) on the inside of an iron core ( ), and cools the inside of the iron core ( ). Further, cooling air passes through a cooling air passage ( ) in the inside of the iron core ( ) and a clearance ( ) between the internal periphery of the iron core ( ) and the external periphery of a rotor ( ), and cools the inside of the iron core ( ) and the rotor ( ). Therefore, it is possible to effectively cool the internal periphery side of a stator ( ) and the rotor ( ). When a cooling oil is sprayed from the cooling oil passage ( ) into the cooling air passage ( ), it is possible to obtain a more effective cooling effect by utilizing the latent heat of vaporization of the mist of the cooling oil.
