Abstract
The escapement includes first ( ) and second ( ) escapement wheels meshing with each other, one of these wheels being driven by the gear train. It further includes a lever ( ) capable of receiving the impulses generated alternately by the first and second wheels and to transmit these impulses to a plate ( ) which carries a sprung-balance. The lever is arranged to lock alternately the first and second wheels after each impulse transmitted.
