Abstract
Harvesting machine reaping systems with crop lifters have a bed plate ( ) with projecting reaping fingers ( ). A support bar ( ) has a first end ( ) and a second end ( ). The first end ( ) attaches on the bed plate ( ). The second end ( ) of the support bar ( ) is connected to a grain lifter ( ). A holder ( ) is attached on the support bar ( ) between the first end ( ) and the second end ( ). A retainer, for example a pin ( ) and pairs of bores, are arranged on the holder ( ). The bores are distanced to the support bar ( ). The pin ( ) is insertable into the bores of one of the pairs of bores. The holder ( ), together with the retainer ( ), are arranged to form a free motion gap. Thus, the support bar can approach the reaping finger ( ) or its tip ( ). The support bar ( ) is rigidly formed, with respect to flexure, in the area between the second end ( ) and the holder ( ). The support bar ( ) is elastically formed, with respect to flexure, in the area between the holder ( ) and the first end ( ).
