Abstract

Integrated Devices enable the integration of the Internet with the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). A device can place a telephone call to an Integrated Device via dialing on the PSTN and have the call consummated over the Internet via a mechanism of messaging between the associated devices and systems.
