Abstract
An annular outer part ( ) for a constant velocity joint. In sectional planes ( ) containing the groove base ( ) of the respective outer groove ( ), the outer faces ( ) of the webs ( ) follow the groove base ( ) at a constant distance. There is provided an outer joint part whose wall thickness, if viewed on the circumference, is largely unchanging. In addition, it is possible to use the webs for accommodating the outer joint part in a receiving part in a rotationally fast way.
