Abstract
A method of processing textile material is disclosed in which the material ( ) is passed along a predetermined path through a liquid jet device ( ) applying a force to the material ( ) transversely to the axis of the material ( ). High pressure water is used to form one or more belts ( ) for applying twist to a yarn ( ), sliver or roving ( ), or as a jet to intermingle one or more yarns ( ).
