Abstract
A connection between a tubular housing and an end cap of a miniature electric motor is made tight by using a circumferentially extending finger on the housing which is bent radially to engage a lip in a recess in the end cap whereby radial deformation of the finger causes an axial clamping of the end cap to the housing without any separation caused by spring back of the finger following deformation.
