Abstract
A swash plate ( ) included in a swash plate type compressor for compressing a refrigerant is made of an aluminum alloy as a base material. Sliding contact surfaces ( ) of the swash plate ( ) in sliding contact with shoes ( ) linking the swash plate ( ) to pistons ( ) are coated with a film of a solid lubricant containing at least one lubricating material selected from molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide and graphite by a transfer method. Therefore, the performance of the film and the productivity thereof are improved.
