An adjustable pair of pliers including two branches, and each branch has an articulation region located between a jaw portion and a handle portion. A first branch includes a guide surface , and an articulation surface , a front guide mechanism , and a front articulation mechanism . A rear guide mechanism is provided for guiding the second branch.
