Abstract

A condenser system ( ) includes a first header ( ), a second header ( ), and parallel tubes ( ) extending between the headers ( ). A receiver ( ), affixed to the second header ( ), is in fluid communication with the second header ( ). The receiver includes a body ( ), a first cap ( ) coupled to the body ( ), and a second cap ( ) coupled to the body. The condenser system ( ) is subjected to a one-shot brazing process that nondetachably couples the receiver ( ) to the second header ( ), and concurrently nondetachably couples the first and second caps ( ) to the receiver body ( ). A desiccant system ( ) and/or filter ( ) may be optionally installed into the receiver ( ) prior to brazing.
