Abstract
A crop lifter for harvesting machine reaping systems with reaping fingers ( ). The crop lifter ( ) has a support bar ( ). An attachment element ( ) is mounted on, and connected to the support bar ( ). The attachment element ( ) retains the crop lifter on the reaping finger ( ) in different alignment positions. The attachment element ( ) comprises a holding element ( ) with two distanced legs ( ). The tip of the reaping finger ( ) can be inserted between the legs ( ). A retaining lever ( ) is supported between the two legs ( ) on a pivot pin ( ). The retaining lever ( ) has a first lever arm ( ) with an adjusting screw ( ). The adjustment screw ( ) can be brought into contact with the upper side of the reaping finger ( ). A second lever arm ( ) of the retaining lever ( ) has two retaining faces ( ). A retaining element, in the form of a leaf spring ( ) has a front face ( ). The front face ( ), depending on the pivoting position of the retaining lever ( ) contacts one of the retaining faces ( ). This retains the retaining lever ( ), so that the support bar ( ) can be brought in reference to the reaping finger ( ) into different rough approximate positions. The positions can then be finely adjusted by turning the adjustment screw ( ).
