Abstract
An audio jack ( ) includes an insulative housing ( ) and a set of contacts ( ) assembled on the insulative housing. The insulative housing defines a longitudinal hole ( ) therethrough for receiving a mating plug ( ) and having a top wall ( ), a bottom wall ( ), a first sidewall ( ), a second sidewall ( ) and a rear wall ( ). The set of contacts includes a first contact ( ), a second contact ( ), a third contact ( ) and a fourth contact ( ). The fourth contact is secured to the rear wall of the insulative housing for minimizing the profile of the audio jack.
