Abstract
An electrical connector ( ) has a metal shield ( ), a main housing ( ), a pair of LEDs ( ) received in the main housing, a subassembly ( ) assembled to the main housing, a stacked Universal Serial Bus (USB) , and a molded assembly ( ) assembled to the subassembly. The LED ( ) has three leads ( ), a left free end ( ) is longer than a right free end ( ), and a middle free end ( ) is bent perpendicularly and extending horizontally thereafter below the free ends. The molded assembly comprising a plastic part ( ), and a first and second connections ( ) insert molded in the plastic part. The free ends of the leads are respectively soldered to soldering sections ( ) of the first and second connections.
