Abstract

A device attaches an engine to an aircraft. The device ( ) is inserted between the engine ( ) and a pylon ( ) designed to be attached to an aircraft structure, such as a wing or fuselage section. The attachment device ( ) generally includes two brackets ( ) joined together and secured to the pylon ( ) and two pairs of rods ( ) inserted between the two brackets ( ) and a part ( ) of the structure of the engine ( ). Thus the integrity of the link between the pylon ( ) and the engine ( ) is preserved in the event of failure of any of the parts which constitute the device, without there being any need for a backup attachment system.
