Abstract

A flat lighting device ( ) has two mutually opposite, at least partially transparent view surfaces in such a way that light from a light source, for example daylight or ambient light, backlighting the lighting device can pass through the transparent part ( ) of the view surfaces. Moreover, the lighting device has at least one integrated light source, the, or each, light source being arranged in such a way that during operation a corresponding luminous area ( ) inside at least one of the two view surfaces is formed by the, or each, light source.
