Abstract

In an electronically commutated electrical machine, in particular motor, having a stator ( ) that has primary teeth ( ) partitioned off by slots ( ), and having a stator winding ( ), produced of insulated winding wire ( ), that has k winding phases ( ), each with l parallel branches ( ) each of m series-connected coils ( ), placed in the slots ( ) and wound around the primary teeth ( ), as well as contact hooks ( ) connected to the l parallel branches ( ) of each winding phase ( ), which contact hooks form phase terminals (B B A A ) and star points (SB, SA) of each winding phase ( ), where k, l and m are integers greater than 1, in order to optimize the laying of winding wire around the winding holder, some of the l parallel branches ( ), belonging to one winding phase ( ), are contacted to the star point (SB, SA) of another winding phase ( ).
