Abstract
A novel crosslinkable ambifunctional perfluorinated polyetheris provided wherein the polyether is defined by the formula X —(C F O) —X where X and X are different functional terminal groups which are capable of forming a crosslinked perfluorinated polyether by addition, condensation or ring-opening reaction, and n ranges from 1 to 2000 and a is an integer of from 1 to 4. The mole ratio of X and X is 1:1. A release film may be formed from the cross-linked perfluorinated polyether.
