Abstract

In order to manufacture the display element intended for a timepiece, a sheet of plastic material shaped in a tape ( ) is provided. The sheet is then deformed using tools ( ) by thermoforming to give it a profile ( B) corresponding to the outer contour ( ) of said elements. Such an element can be a date disc or a dial.
