An optical colored glass with a composition (in percent by weight based on oxide) of SiO 30-75; K O 5-35; TiO 0-5; B O >4-17; ZnO 5-37; F 0.01-10 M M Y 0.1-3, whereby M =Cu , Ag , M =In , Ga , Al , Y =S , Se , Te , as well as the use of this glass as a long-pass cutoff filter.
