Abstract
An electrical connector has a plurality of sheet-type terminals ( and ) which are received into corresponding receiving slots ( and ) of a housing ( ) and are arranged parallel each other in a direction. The terminals ( ) have connection sections ( and ) at their ends, which are arranged so as to face the same side and protrude outward from a bottom surface of the housing. The movable member ( ), which presses a flat cable (C) toward contact sections ( ), is movably supported at an open mouth of the housing ( ).
