Abstract
A filter cartridge comprising an annularly closed filter medium provided with end disks ( ). Within the interior of the cartridge there is a support tube ( ), which is made in one piece and has a radial sealing ring ( ) in its interior. The outside diameter of the support tube is chosen such that the support tube can be inserted into the filter cartridge. This produces a sealing effect between the end disks ( ) and the outer circumference of the support tube. The filter cartridge of the invention has the advantage of being cost-effective to produce and simple to assemble.
