Abstract

A vibratory device ( ) for dispersing a topdressing and correcting the grain in greens. A deck ( ) is supported by a frame ( ) with a linkage ( ) for raising and lowering the deck ( ) with rest to the green. A shaker tray ( ) is vibrated within the deck ( ) by a vibrator ( ) attached to the deck ( ). A brush frame ( ) is carried within the shaker tray ( ) for vibrating against the tips of the grass blades in the green to shake the topdressing into the thatch and to straighten the grass blades. The linkage ( ) to raise and lower the deck permits height adjustment of the brush frame ( ) with respect to the grass blades so that the brush bristles ( ) just tickle the tips minimizing injury to the grass.
