Abstract

A guide plate ( ) for guiding the jig rod ( ) extends from a hole ( ), formed in a connector ( ), toward a distal end of the retaining lance ( ). A slanting guide surface ( ) for sliding contact with the jig rod ( ) is formed on the retaining lance ( ). The jig rod ( ) is inserted into the hole ( ) without shaking. A guide groove ( ) for guiding the jig rod ( ) is formed in the guide plate ( ), and an inner surface ( ) of the hole ( ) is disposed flush with a guide surface ( ) of the guide groove ( ). The guide plate ( ) extends to a position near to the retaining lance ( ). A retaining projection ( ) is formed on the retaining lance ( ) in juxtaposed relation to the slanting guide surface ( ). A press-contact portion ( ) for contact with the slanting guide surface ( ) and an abutment step portion ( ) for contact with the retaining projection are formed at the jig rod ( ).
