Abstract
A zirconium system amorphous alloy having a composition expressed by a general formula Zr Ti Al Cu Ni wherein a, b, X, and Y in the formula represent atomic percentage, and fulfill X<10, Y>5, Y<−(1/2)X+35/2, 15≦a≦25, and 5≦b≦15, the zirconium system amorphous alloy has an amorphous phase of more than 50 volume % of the alloy.
