The constant velocity universal joint comprises an outer joint member that has three curved guide grooves formed in the axial direction on a spherical inner circumferential surface thereof, an inner joint member that has three curved guide grooves formed in the axial direction on a spherical outer circumferential surface thereof, three torque transmitting balls disposed in ball tracks that are formed by the coordination of the guide grooves of the outer joint member and the guide grooves of the inner joint member a cage that holds the balls and elastic pressing means interposed between the outer circumferential surface of the inner joint member and the inner circumferential surface of the cage
