An optical fiber connector ( ) includes an insert body ( ), an elastic door ( ), a housing ( ), an optical element ( ) and a spacer ( ). The elastic door includes a shutter ( ) and a fixed portion ( ). The elastic door is mounted between the insert body and the housing. The optical element for emitting or receiving optical signals is held by mounting the spacer to the housing.
