Abstract
A program and data corresponding to a flash memory which is to be the target of overwriting are read from a storage medium such as a PC card and the flash memory is overwritten using a multi-read only memory (ROM) writer by executing the program which was read. The multi-ROM writer is capable of overwriting different types of flash memories.
